David M. Watson, CFA | Managing Director
David Watson, Principal, joined Redwood in 2011. David’s responsibilities include originating and structuring new investment opportunities and assisting with portfolio management.
David joined from Goldman Sachs & Co., where he worked in the Investment Banking Division advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, debt financings, equity raises and anti-raid strategies. David also worked in the Financial Restructuring Group at Houlihan Lokey, where he acted as an advisor to debtors, creditors and committees in out-of-court recapitalizations, sales processes and plans of reorganization.
David received a B.S. degree from Miami University with a major in Finance and a minor in Management Information Systems. He is a CFA charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant.
Kevin A. Loden | Principal & General Counsel
Kevin, Vice President, joined Redwood in 2014. Kevin’s responsibilities include originating and structuring new investment opportunities and assisting with portfolio management. In addition, Kevin oversees Redwood’s legal function.
Kevin joined from Venable LLP, where he worked in the Corporate group advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, debt financings, and equity raises.
Kevin received a B.A. degree from Mary Washington College and a J.D. from University of Baltimore School of Law where he was an editor of the Law Review.
Ryan Mostrom | Vice President
Ryan Mostrom, Vice President, joined Redwood in 2016. Ryan’s responsibilities include originating and structuring new investment opportunities and assisting with portfolio management.
Ryan joined from Long Pond Capital, a long / short equity hedge fund, where he was responsible for sourcing and evaluating equity investments in a broad range of industries. Ryan previously worked at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, a global private equity firm, where he was responsible for evaluating investment opportunities and assisted in portfolio company management. He began his career with Citi, in the Consumer Group of the Investment Banking Division, advising companies on M&A as well as debt and equity financings.
Ryan received his B.S.C. with distinction from the University of Virginia, with a major in finance and a minor in mathematics.
Patrick Sissman | Vice President
Patrick Sissman, Vice President, joined Redwood in 2016. Patrick’s responsibilities include originating and structuring new investment opportunities and assisting with portfolio management.
Prior to Redwood, Patrick worked at Berkshire Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm, where he was responsible for evaluating investment opportunities and assisting in portfolio company management. Patrick began his career in the investment banking division of Goldman, Sachs & Co., advising companies in the Financial Services industry on M&A as well as debt and equity financings.
Patrick received a B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Charlie Campisi | Deputy General Counsel
Charlie Campisi, Corporate Counsel, joined Redwood in early 2014. His responsibilities include corporate governance for Redwood and its portfolio companies, negotiating transaction documents, deal diligence and consulting on strategic matters.
Charlie previously practiced in house at Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. where he was responsible over a wide range of matters including acquisitions and divestitures, corporate contracts, licensing and litigation. Before joining Maxim Healthcare, Charlie practiced at Venable LLP, gaining experience in creditors’ rights, business transactions and litigation. Prior to law school, Charlie worked as credit analyst and relationship manager for Barclays Bank of New York.
Charlie received his law degree from The George Washington University and received BS degrees in Economics and Marketing from Boston College. Charlie is a member in good standing of the Maryland Bar.
Sarah Walsh | Controller
Sarah Walsh, Controller, joined Redwood in May 2014. Sarah is responsible for the company’s accounting, treasury management and financial reporting, as well as assisting with due diligence and analysis on new investment opportunities, portfolio financing and portfolio management.
Sarah joined Redwood from Allegis Group, Inc., the fourth largest human resources solutions company globally, where she worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions group. Sarah was responsible for managing and executing all aspects of due diligence, valuation and financial analyses for the company’s acquisitions. Prior to that, Sarah was a Senior Associate in Assurance Services at Ernst & Young, LLP serving primarily private equity, healthcare and technology clients.
Sarah earned dual B.S. degrees in both Accounting and Finance from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and is an active Certified Public Accountant.
Dawn Burkowski | Senior Accountant
Dawn Burkowski, Senior Accountant, joined Redwood in 2012. Dawn is part of the real estate management team along with Sarah Walsh and Charles Campisi. Her responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of financials for investment tracking.
Dawn has worked for real estate management companies in the Baltimore area for over 20 years. She received a B.S. degree in Accounting from Strayer University in 2005.
